One year into quarantine, in what would later become a joint pastime, Vayne and Joon were fuming at John Henry. Sensing a signal in the force, they took to the most natural place to get really mad at a billionaire sports owner: a dating app.

For their first date, Vayne and Joon arrived 40 minutes early and had to loiter in the neighborhood. At Washington Square Park, Joon made deep and prolonged eye contact with Vayne and then sprinted away like Road Runner. Vayne also had to pretend it didn't happen. Once at the bar, however, they shared an electric conversation about BTS, the long Cold War, and dollar pizza.

Outside of a bodega on 2nd Ave, Joon asked Vayne if he could introduce her as his girlfriend at his nephew Ever's lemonade stand. She said yes, and then they went to the Sesame Street exhibition at the Museum of the City of New York.

Over the years, Joon and Vayne have not done a good job documenting their relationship in photos. But they promise they're having a lot of fun together.

Vayne and Joon traveled to Malaysia and Korea to visit each other's home countries. This is Joon respectfully attempting to engage in Vayne's culture.

On the eve of a flight to Paris, Joon slipped an engagement ring into Vayne's suitcase. While romantic in theory, the proposal went sideways when Joon realized Vayne was not wearing pants. Then they showed the ring to the most important person in their life, Joon's family dog Mia.
